Thai Spicy Beef Soup

A flavorful and spicy one-pot Thai beef soup, perfect for spice lovers and meat enthusiasts.

  • 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 liter beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons red curry paste
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, bruised
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 red chili, sliced
  • 100g mushrooms, sliced
  • 100g bean sprouts
  • Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instrukcje:

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the red curry paste and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the beef stock and bring to a simmer. Add the lemongrass stalks, kaffir lime leaves, and sliced chili.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the pot and simmer for 5 minutes until the beef is tender.
  5. Stir in the coconut milk and mushrooms. Cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Remove the lemongrass and lime leaves from the soup. Add the bean sprouts and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves and lime wedges on the side.
